When We Refer to a Therapist

If you're in active crisis, infidelity, or a high-conflict pattern, we'll recommend a couples therapist instead. We'll say so directly.

Process

  • Both partners together (few individual sessions early on).
  • 8–12 sessions over 3–4 months.
  • 90 minutes per session.
  • What is shared in individual sessions stays there.
